Commemorating World Environment Day 2026: Week-Long Tree Plantation Drive
Golaghat, Assam — To mark World Environment Day 2026, the Rong Ham-Doi Foundation, in proud collaboration with Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), successfully executed a comprehensive, multi-day Tree Plantation Programme. The flagship drive culminated in a major public awareness gathering at K. B. Road, Golaghat.
Spanning from May 25, 2026, through June 5, 2026, the initiative focused on restoring local biodiversity and fostering a deep sense of ecological responsibility within the community. On June 2, our dedicated team, volunteers, and local citizens gathered to actively plant saplings and spread critical messages of sustainability.
Participants marched with placards delivering vital environmental messages, including:

"Less Pollution, The Only Solution"
"প্ৰকৃতি বচাওঁ, ভৱিষ্যৎ গঢ়োঁ" (Save Nature, Build the Future)
